National Jeweler Network to host online retail forum
Event aims to help jewelry retailers build effective digital strategies

New York—To help jewelry retailers solve current and future online business challenges, the National Jeweler Network will host an Online Retailing Forum on Tuesday, July 29, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

The invitation-only forum will address the strategies, processes, technologies and services surrounding key online transactions for jewelry retailers, including distribution, marketing and merchandising.

A panel of experts from renowned organizations such as Google and Yahoo, plus leading industry leaders such as Ice.com, Jewelry Television and several other successful jewelry retailers, will explore building and maintaining an effective digital strategy focused on search engine optimization, leveraging Web analytics, structuring more effected third-party partnerships and gaining competitive advantage through online sourcing.

The forum will mix presentations with discussion panels followed by Q and A and networking opportunities. The event is open to owners, marketers, Webmasters or any other professional from a qualified jewelry retail business who is seeking valuable and actionable knowledge that can be immediately applied to their business.

"Many in our community have been struggling with how best to build their online offerings," Lee Arevian, vice president of Couture, Nielsen Jewelry Group, said in a media release issued on Friday. "We wanted to give the retail community a program that would deliver best practices and tools that can be immediately applied and drive more profits and sales for their business. This program will do exactly that."
